Susan M. Wyler is a writer and teacher living in Los Angeles. She has been teaching novel writing for over fifteen years. A poet and historian, with advanced degrees in cultural history from UCLA and Oxford University, she’s traveled the world, speaks four languages, and is a master yogi.
Her debut novel, Solsbury Hill, published by Riverhead Books in 2014. Her collection of poetry in collaboration with painterDeloss McGraw, Oklahoma Gothic: The Castle, published by University of Oklahoma Press in 1997.

Why I teach
At first it was hard to find the words to explain how to write a novel.
