    Vicky Leandros, a Greek singer, is a renowned European artist and the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1972.

    She was born on the island of Corfu in a family of singer and composer Leo Leandros, known by his stage name Leandros Papathanassiou. From 1958, she lived in Germany with her father.
